At our 152nd Annual General Meeting on 27th June, we thanked and acknowledged the incredible contribution made by retiring Board Chair, Meredith Wyles. Meredith joined The Cottage Homes’ management committee in 2008, helped form the first Board in 2019, and in 2021 was appointed Chair.

Deputy Chair Damian Madigan (pictured) presented Meredith with a gift of thanks for her significant commitment and leadership extending more than 15 years. Meredith will continue in her role as a visitor.

The Board is also pleased to announce that David O’Loughlin has been appointed as the new Chair. David, a Prospect local, has been familiar with the Cottage Homes since he was child, riding his bike past Cottage Homes Prospect on his way to school, and for 16 years as the local Mayor and occasional guest at AGMs. David’s background in construction, development, local government, the Housing Trust and Planning Commission has been welcomed since he joined the Board in 2022.
